Global Running Culture, Inc. (GRC) is a non-profit organization based in Santa Fe, New Mexico founded on the idea that all young people should have the opportunity to benefit from the power of sport. In 2010, a mutual love of running brought Abraham Kosgei, Joseph Karnes and Antonio Lopez together to form Global Running Culture.  They recognized that even though we come from different backgrounds and cultures, we are all born to run.

Our initial project, the Santa Fe to Buffalo Thunder Half Marathon, was created to celebrate the multicultural running atmosphere in New Mexico. Since that time our mission has broadened to support youth fitness, nutrition and health through participation in sport; and also, to support communities with running traditions, both locally and globally.  The Half Marathon has become our primary funding source for 0ur current projects including a fitness and nutrition program at the Boys and Girls Club in Santa Fe; the Global Footprint Youth Relay; youth indoor soccer camps in northern New Mexico and Project Kenya.
